The RECIRCLE MED project partners and associate organizations had the pleasure of meeting for the first time during their initial online gathering on October 17th, 2025.
Following a warm welcome by the University of Thessaly and a round of introductions, the associate organizations were introduced to the project’s concept, objectives, and structure. They also had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with their roles within the project, as well as the upcoming activities and events.
During the meeting, the Blueprint for Blue Action Plans for Circular Tourism was presented as a key reference document, providing the methodology and foundational framework for the next stages of implementation. Participants engaged in interactive discussions, exchanging ideas, needs, and expectations. The meeting concluded with an update on forthcoming actions and events, including a briefing on the connection with the Sustainable Tourism mission and initiatives.
After the session, all relevant materials were shared with the associate partners to ensure they have the necessary information to actively engage with the project.
Given the demanding period ahead for project development and transfer activities, partners committed to maintaining continuous communication and regular updates, marking this meeting as just the first step in a dynamic collaborative journey
