Τhis new podcast takes listeners on a journey to explore pathways for supporting the implementation of blue and circular tourism across the Mediterranean.
The first episode of RECIRCLE MED Talks opens the conversation on how tourism in the Mediterranean can become more sustainable, circular, and resilient. Konstantinos Karampourniotis (Living Prospects) is joined by Dora Papatheohari from the University of Thessaly (UTH, Lead Partner), alongside Andrea Mullerat and Estela Delgado from ASCAME. In an engaging and informal discussion, the speakers introduce the RECIRCLE MED project, reflect on the key challenges facing Mediterranean tourism today, and highlight why integrating circular and blue economy approaches is essential for the future of destinations.
This inaugural episode sets the tone for the series, presenting the project’s vision, its partnership framework, and the key themes that will be explored in upcoming episodes.
