The RECIRCLE MED project partners and associated organisations had the pleasure of meeting for the second time, online, on 25 February 2026.
Following a welcome by the University of Thessaly (Greece), associated partners had the opportunity to explore the RECIRCLE MED Blueprint for Blue Action Plans for Circular Tourism, presented by the Energy and Water Agency (Malta).
Subsequently, the project’s “receiving territories”, which had already implemented their local mobilisation workshops, presented the key outcomes of such an activity:
- Municipality of Cefalù (22 November 2025)
- Municipality of Ohrid (2 December 2025)
- National Association of the Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria in cooperation with the Municipality of Pomorie (9 February 2026).
This section was followed by a presentation on the role of associated organisations in upcoming activities and events, as well as an overview of the next steps of the project and the Programme Sustainable Tourism iniatiatives.
After the meeting, all relevant materials were shared with the representatives of the associated organisations, reaffirming the commitment to continued close collaboration and regular updates on the project’s progress.
