On July 8th, 2025, RECIRCLE MED had the opportunity to participate in the 1st Cross-Fertilization Webinar between the BlueMissionMed and the Innovative Sustainable Economy Mission, under the theme: “Boosting Synergies for Innovative Solutions in Water Management, Depollution, and Restoration in the Mediterranean Basin.”
As a project with a high focus on Blue Economy, and water management issues related to the tourism sector, RECIRCLE MED had not but with high pleasure accept the invitation of the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions – Intermediterranean Commision (CPMR-IMC).
Represented by the University of Thessaly, our project also actively participated in the interactive session, following the initial discussions on Blue Economy and Water Management. During this workshop, RECIRCLE MED had the opportunity to present its activities, services, solutions, and priorities, while also addressing the key needs for the future scaling-up and implementation of our solutions.
The event, co-organized by Ifremer, Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions (CPMR), Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, FVA New Media Research, and Regione Emilia-Romagna, highlighted the importance of creating bridges between Mission Ocean and the Interreg Euro-MED Programme, strengthening alignment and maximizing the visibility and impact of projects working toward shared objectives.
Sharing key information while simultaneously gaining valuable insights and exploring future opportunities to engage in blue economy activities truly embodies the spirit of cooperation.
