“Sustainable Blue Tourism” Online Capacity-building Workshop

Coastal and maritime tourism is a cornerstone of the EU Blue Economy, yet it faces growing challenges. Climate change, biodiversity loss, resource depletion and shifting traveller expectations are reshaping the sector. 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘀, 𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲.

𝗢𝗻 𝟭𝟳 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗗𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆-𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 will bring together experts, innovators and practitioners shaping the next generation of coastal & maritime tourism models.

Participants will have the opportunity to explore how tourism models can be re-imagined to strengthen ecosystem protection, empower coastal communities, and align with EU policies and frameworks for a more resilient future.
