The Municipality of Bar is organizing its Local Capacity Building Workshop on July 7th 2026.

Bar is a dynamic coastal town with a strategic role as Montenegro’s maritime gateway and a growing focus on sustainable coastal development. Following the Local Mobilisation Workshop held in March 2026, the Municipality of Bar invites the local community to take the next step.

Tailored to the specific needs of Bar, and focused on strengthening capacities related to the adaptation of the Blueprint and the implementation of the Blue Action Plan for Circular Tourism, this Workshop aims to:

  • Address local capacity gaps identified during needs assessment
  • Provide targeted training on blue and circular tourism concepts and practices
  • Support the operationalization of the Action Plan
  • Facilitate collaboration and feedback among local actors
  • Showcase practical tools and real-world applications
