The Municipality of Pomorie is organizing its Local Capacity Building Workshop on September 3rd 2026, organized in collaboration with the National Association of the Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria.

Pomorie is a dynamic coastal town with a strategic role in the country’s tourism sector, and a growing focus on sustainable practices. Following the Local Mobilisation Workshop held in February 2026, the Municipality of Pomorie invites the local community to take the next step.

Tailored to the specific needs of Pomorie, and focused on strengthening capacities related to the adaptation of the Blueprint and the implementation of the Blue Action Plan for Circular Tourism, this Workshop aims to:

  • Address local capacity gaps identified during needs assessment
  • Provide targeted training on blue and circular tourism concepts and practices
  • Support the operationalization of the Action Plan
  • Facilitate collaboration and feedback among local actors
  • Showcase practical tools and real-world applications
